For bodies that dont want to get on the floor; bodies that are stiff or painful, curvy bodies, unfit bodies, athletic bodies that are paired with a nervous mind, AND beginners courses for average bodies that just want to know how!
As well as classes, regular students get access to free online alignment yoga classes and yoga pose videos.
All you need is a good intention, preferably your own mat, and your water. If you have any medical conditions or injuries, please let me know prior. This class can cater for people who do not wish to get on/off the floor, but please let me know in advance so I have enough seats available.
Group workshops are limited to 6 and take place in a private residence. The class is in Appleby, with heaps of street parking. I will give you the address when you book.
Type of movement includes: Hatha, Sivananda, Satyananada, Intuitive, alignment, Systemic Intelligence, mindful Type of breathing includes: functional retraining, relaxation response, coherent, autonomic balance, respiratory muscle strengthening. Type of meditation includes: Trataka, breath, sensing, energetic, heart based, sound, concentration, awareness. Teacher: Claire Bhavani-Winzar 800YT, experienced in teaching able bodies, less able bodies, 'bung' bodies, those living with chronic disease, and older bodies. Classes do not specifically cater for pregnancy.

As well as freeing up tension in the body, you'll learn proper breathing techniques that will serve you for your lifetime, and trial several meditation techniques - all helping you to feel more peaceful inside and out.
